Need Of External Defibrillator In A Facility

The cases of sudden cardiac arrests and other life - threatening heart conditions happen at the most unexpected moments of time. It does not consider any age, health, weight, or fitness level of the person and can affect anyone and everyone. This is the reason why most of the health conscious facilities and health care centres must be prepared for the worst possible conditions so that they are capable of saving a life at an impossible moment. They are a must install devices for the public places as well as office environments as well.

Importance Of AED In The Fitness Centres

Gyms and other fitness centres are the places where an automated external defibrillateur is highly needed. Some states also have laws regarding this issue and have installed these devices in the most predictable workplaces that can help in case of an emergency. These areas along with professional workplaces should invest in installing one such equipment just in case if somebody gets a sudden cardiac arrest while workouts or work hours. Some trusted online portals avail this amazingly beneficial défibrillateur that can be used to save lives.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Can Happen To Anyone At Anytime

The sudden cardiac arrest cases are very commonly reported to have caused in the fitness centres while performing workouts. It can happen to anyone as it occurs when the heartbeat increases its pace and happens erratically for the time being. It can happen when someone gets a severe blow to the chest or overexertion, both are commonly seen during training and fitness programs. If it happens during the training program, having a trained and professional staff for your rescue is important as they can help you with the right devices and get your heartbeat back to normal.

3 Types of Defibrillateur

Defibrillateur is a specialized treatment for chronic dysthymias, ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation. A Defibrillateur initiates electric current known as counter shock to the human’s heart. The action depolarizes massive heart muscle and stops dysrhythmia. This makes it easy for the sinoatrial node to re-establish the normal heart rhythm.

Here are the three types of Defibrillateur:
1. Manual external defibrillator
Manual external Defibrillateur need the expertise of an experience healthcare provider. Typically, they are used together with an electrocardiogram, which can be inbuilt or separate. A doctor usually checks on the cardiac rhythm and determines the timing and voltage of the electrical shock. These machines are available in hospitals and ambulances. For example, most ambulances in the US and UK are fitted with the machines. Also, many paramedics are trained to use the machines manually to deliver the right electrical therapy with a defibrillator.
2. Manual internal defibrillator
Manual internal Defibrillateur transports the shock via paddles that are put directly on a human’s heart. They are often used in theater and in rare situations in the emergency rooms during a heart surgery.
3. Automated external defibrillator
An automated external defibrillator is also referred to as an AED.  It also has a box that contains crucial information on how to use the machine. The languages are in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. The automated external defibrillators are made for used by non-skilled or medium trained medical experts. Furthermore, the AED come with advanced tech for analysis of heart rhythms. For that reason, one does not need to be a medical expert to use the automated external defibrillators to determine whether or not the rhythm can be shocked. The automated external defibrillators are available for the public to help treat those who suffer from cardiac arrests while far from the hospitals.

A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DEFIBRILLATORS

First discovered by Batelli and Prevost, two scientists physiologists hailing from Switzerland in 1899, the defibrillator/défibrillateur is a device essential to treat conditions that can be referred to as life threatening. With conditions as serious as the ones related to the heart, the defibrillator is a device that is essential. Defibrillation is a process that is often shown in various TV serials as well as movies and is hence, something that is a very popular phenomenon and that is widely known about.

Defibrillation is used in very serious conditions related to the heart. Conditions that ultimately affect one's very heart such as pulseless ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, crisscross arrhythmia are the ones that are treated with the procedure of defibrillation.

In the process of defibrillation, an electric shock is delivered to the heart of the patient. The result of this shock is the subsequent depolarization of heart muscles. This leads to the establishment of the heart's electrical impulse in the normal way.
A particular machine is used when this shock is delivered to the heart. This machine is the defibrillator. There are quite a few different types of defibrillators such as external defibrillator, implanted defibrillator and transvenous ones as well.

In case of any kind of cardiac emergencies, defibrillation is performed. Under ideal circumstances it should be performed immediately after one recognises that someone is undergoing any kind of cardiac disruption which may be indicated by symptoms such as unresponsiveness and lack of pulse.
We have often seen how big paddles are put on the chest of patients when they undergo any kind of cardiac disruption. That in itself is a defibrillator. An external one. Likewise there are internal defibrillators as well. These are devices that are incredibly useful and have saved millions of lives in the United States of America itself!
